Your Mission as a Cloud Engineer:
At Yuki, your mission is to elevate our SaaS product by modernizing and scaling our platform. As part of this endeavor, you will take complete ownership of our 100% cloud-based infrastructure on AWS. Your focus will be on maintaining the seamless operation of our platform while driving continuous improvements to enhance its modernization.
Collaborating closely with our software development teams, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and advancing a genuine DevOps culture across the organization. Your efforts will ensure that our platform not only operates efficiently but also evolves to meet the growing demands of our users and the rapidly changing technological landscape.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Continuously improve our AWS infrastructure, considering scalability, maintainability and security
Administer and monitor Windows, SQL Server, Linux servers and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters
Design and test infrastructure initiatives
Own and improve our deployment systems and practices
Manage infrastructure focused projects, i.e. monitoring and security
Be engaged in infrastructure related projects initiated by the product teams
Together with the team; evaluate and iterate on strategies to improve our DevOps practices and execute on them
Facilitate devops across the organisation
The Expertise You Bring:
5+ years experience working with a public cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with as many of the following AWS services as possible: EC2, RDS, Cloudfront, Elasticache, EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS
Working experience setting up, running and maintaining Windows Servers within a public cloud
An analytical, inventive and forward thinking mind
Experienced setting up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/Github/Jenkins
Docker and K8s
Infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
Deployment, monitoring, and application management scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
You feel comfortable working with a lot of freedom and autonomy and are ready to take responsibility
Good communication skills in English
