Your Mission as a Senior Product Owner - Team Financial

As the Senior Product Owner for our Financial team, you'll spearhead product development dedicated to empowering financial decision-making. You will lead the charge in understanding the complex needs of our users, leading a performance-driven team, and delivering innovative financial and fiscal management solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Continuous Market and Financial Insight: Partner with the Design team to delve into market research and user interviews focused on financial management needs. Use these insights to guide your product strategy and ensure it aligns with our users' evolving financial landscapes and our broader business objectives.

Strategic Team Leadership: Guide a highly motivated cross-functional team of UI/UX designers, engineers committed to excellence and innovation and poised to disrupt the financial software sector.

Product Excellence: Craft detailed product requirements, construct user stories, and manage the product backlog. Collaborate intricately with the Senior Product Owner - Team to guarantee product milestones are met with the highest quality and efficiency.

Engagement and Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the business and our user base to refine the product vision continually. Employ feedback to advance the user experience and ensure the product addresses or exceeds market needs.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key metrics to measure the impact and success of the financial management product. Employ data analysis to drive strategic direction and iterative product enhancements.

Agile Methodology Expertise: Instil Agile practices to foster an environment of rapid iteration, enabling the team to adapt to user needs and market changes swiftly.

The Expertise You Bring:

• Solid background as a product owner or product manager, and a bonus if in financial software or related fields.

• Exceptional ability to identify user needs and translate them into actionable insights, driving the development of impactful features and innovative products. A background in financial processes is a plus.

• An analytical mind with a knack for leveraging technology to solve complex financial problems.

• Proven track record of developing strategy, roadmaps, and launching successful products.

• Strong skills in user research, feedback analysis, and employing data- driven strategies for product development.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding communication skills in English and a bonus if you can communicate in Dutch.
